Mr. Hall is a Director and Chairman of ACT360 Solutions. Mr. Hall is currently the President of Dickson Hall & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in strategic business development in China.
Over the past 20 years, Mr. Hall has been involved in business and commerce in the Asia Pacific region. He was the director of the Pacific Rim Group in Hong Kong, a consulting firm specializing in strategic business development in Hong Kong and China, as well as providing accounting and company secretarial services, from April 1997 to April 1998, the managing director of Dickson Hall Asia Ltd., a consulting firm specializing in business development in China from November 1993 to March 1997 and the director of the British Columbia Trade & Investment Office in Hong Kong from 1986 to 1993 where he directed Hong Kong and China trade and investment promotion activities on behalf of the British Columbia Government. Mr. Hall also represented the Vancouver Stock Exchange in Asia from 1993 to 1998.
From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Hall was the managing director of International Education and Student Services Ltd., a Hong Kong based company developing education projects in Hong Kong and China, including representing the Canadian Association of Independent Schools. Mr. Hall received his Bachelor of Arts in 1976 and his Master of Arts in 1980 from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Hall also has diplomas from the Beijing Language Institute (1977), Beijing University (1978) and the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing (1979). Mr. Hall is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Mr. Wong started with the company as a Project Manager in 1994 and managed CD-ROM development and the company's first on-line initiatives. Between 1997 and 2000, he served as president of Gemflex Networks, a manufacturer of fiber optic networking equipment. He has served as chairman of the VF-45 Action Group, an industry consortium formed with 3M to promote the VF-45 fiber optic standard. He is also a former director and chairman of the Better Business Bureau of Mainland B.C.
Mr. Pui is the founder of ACT360. Mr. Pui received his Bachelors of Business Administration at the Chinese University in Hong Kong in 1976 and was appointed to the UK Institute of Chartered Management Accountants in 1983. Mr. Pui has been a high tech entrepreneur for over 25 years, starting in the audio electronics industry.
In 1985, Mr. Pui founded Uni Precision Industrial in China to manufacture high tech electronics products. Under his direction, Uni Precision was the first China-based manufacturer to obtain ISO 9001 certification in 1992 and subsequently achieved over USD80 million in annual sales. In 1994, Mr. Pui immigrated to Canada and founded ACT Labs Ltd. In 1997, ACT360 was spun off from ACT Labs Ltd. as an e-learning software developer.
In 2001, Mr. Pui became Chairman and Managing Director of Allied Telesis (China) Ltd, which is a subsidiary of a Japanese company whose principal business is computer networking equipment. Since his appointment, Mr. Pui has overseen the rapid growth of that company’s operations in China. He is responsible for 900 employees located at manufacturing facilities in Suzhou and Dongguan respectively, an engineering centre in Shenzhen, and sales offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu, and Guangzhou.
Mr. Erdman is a Director and the Secretary of ACT360 Solutions.
Mr. Erdman brings extensive experience acquired from a career spent in corporate finance and senior corporate management. He is a partner in Lanyard Financial Corporation since 2003. From 1997 to 2003, Ron was President and Chief Executive Officer of Allied Hotel Properties Inc., a publicly listed hotel ownership and management company. Prior to this, Ron was Chief Financial Officer and Director of Nam Tai Electronics Inc., a New York Stock Exchange listed manufacturing company with its operations in China. Ron served as Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Capital Canada Inc. from 1990 to 1995 and was employed by Pemberton Securities Inc. from 1980 to 1989, most recently as Vice-President and Director. He served nine years on two Vancouver hospital foundation boards and was a Founding Council Member of Simon Fraser University's Segal Graduate School of Business. Ron obtained a Bachelor of Science (Chemical Eng.) from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario in 1973 and a Master of Business Administration from the Cranfield School of Management, England in 1979.
Dr. Wong is the founder and president of KBQuest Group Inc., a global programming service provider with offices in the U.S., Hong Kong and Shanghai, China. The development center in Shanghai is a joint venture with Shanghai Fudan University. Dr. Wong is responsible for the entire operation, including planning, investment funding, staffing, training, marketing and investor relationships.
KBQuest serves major customers in Japan, the U.S., Hong Kong and China. Significant projects include security clearance and settlement, telecommunications, knowledge management, biomedical systems, mobile phone applications, e-learning and logistics. In 2001, KBQuest was acquired by Asia Commercial Holdings Ltd., a public company listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. In 2005, KBQuest's Shanghai development centre grew to over 800 IT professionals and was certified with both CMM and CMMI level 3 by the Software Engineering Institute.
